भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ में अरवल, बिहार के कृषकों का भ्रमण

भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ में दिनांक 26 अगस्त, 2021 को बिहार के अरवल जिले के कलेर, कार्ति, कुर्था और बंसी प्रखंड के 2 अधिकारियों सहित 20 किसानों के एक दल ने संस्थान के प्रक्षेत्र का भ्रमण किया। भ्रमण के दौरान किसानों को संस्थान द्वारा विकसित तकनीकों जैसे कि आम एवं अमरूद की सघन बागवानी, पुराने आम के बागों का जीर्णोद्धार, अंतरफसल, सब्जियों की संरक्षित खेती, आम में अनियमित असर के प्रबंधन, कीट और रोगों का एकीकृत प्रबंधन पपीता के रोपण के तरीके, अमरूद के एस्पालियर एवं कंटेनर बागवानी के बारे में अवगत कराया गया। किसानों को अधिक लाभ के लिए फसल विविधीकरण के लिए भी प्रेरित किया गया। उन्हें फलों और सब्जियों के पोषण के महत्व के बारे में भी बताया गया। किसानों का यह भ्रमण इंदिरा गांधी सहकारी प्रबंधन संस्थान, राजाजीपुरम, लखनऊ के सहयोग से आत्मा, अरवल, बिहार द्वारा प्रायोजित थी। डॉ. नरेश बाबू, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक एवं श्री अरविन्द कुमार, स.मु.त.अ. ने भ्रमण का समन्वय किया।

A group of 20 farmers along with 2 officials from Kaler, Karti, Kurtha and Bansi blocks of Arwal district of Bihar visited the experimental field of ICAR-CISH, Lucknow on August 26, 2021. During the visit, farmers were apprised about Institute’s developed technologies like High density planting of mango & guava, rejuvenation of old mango orchards, intercrops, protected cultivation of vegetables, management of irregular bearing in mango, integrated management of insect & diseases, planting methods of papaya, espalier & container gardening of guava etc.. Farmers were also motivated for crop diversification for more benefit. They were also aware about importance of Nutrition of fruits and vegetables. The visit was sponsored by ATMA, Arwal, Bihar in collaboration with Indira Gandhi Institute of Cooperative Management, Rajajipuram, Lucknow. Dr. Naresh Babu, Principal Scientist and Shri. Arvind Kumar, ACTO coordinated the visit.
